Unity by John Cronan

You know there is, in my opinion, a lot of misconception's on what a union is. It is not the union officials  who make the union strong, although it is very important to have strong leadership which I personally think we do, but it is the strength and determination of the membership to be be willing to do what you have to in times when action is called for. It is not easy, it takes smarts and courage and you have to have both. I know from experience. You may have to go through temporary BS but trust me you will outlast management every time if you play the rules smart and safe. They are just to lazy and to worried about there position to sustain there bullying. Just never put yourself in a position to get screwed for insubordination, when a manager shows give him no ammunition to bring you up on charges when he leaves go back to doing what you have to do for the cause it always works that way. Keep up the fight. You individually are the union, together you will be strong, that in my opinion is the only way. Stay strong brothers and sisters.
